Summer is on the horizon and with the warmer weather comes the potential shedding of clothes. For some, the thought of baring their skin comes with its own anxieties – especially for those with thread veins.

Thread veins are tiny blood vessels that are close to the surface of the skin and look like fine red, or sometimes purple, wiggly lines. Because of their appearance, they’re also called spider veins or broken veins, although they are not in fact broken, only enlarged.
