It can be a time where personal relationships can be under a great strain. Women may have problems concerning their partners, their children and their ageing parents. And just when when a women needs that extra bit of energy and strength, the menopause kicks in. Women are often left with feelings of failure, they can’t seem to cope, they feel constantly tired and tearful. They look in the mirror to find a woman they do not recognise anymore; with thinning hair, frown lines, wrinkles and dull, lifeless skin. They can be forgetful, they have aches and pains in their muscles and joints. They can loose interest in sex; they feel unattractive, their body shape has altered,  they put on weight. The menopause can trigger all these things.
