Rosacea – Read the factsheet
Rosacea Phototherapy
Rosacea is a common, yet poorly understood chronic skin condition that mainly affects the face and is characterised by episodes of facial flushing. Rosacea sufferers may experience spots and persistent redness of their skin.
Although rosacea is rarely a serious medical condition, it often causes emotional distress. While there is no cure for rosacea, with the right treatment, the episodes of facial flushing can be minimised. With many years experience in dermatology, our Nurse Specialist understands the emotional distress caused by rosacea.
Rosacea Phototherapy is sometimes combined with prescription only medications in order to produce optimum results. Usually treatments are performed at monthly intervals and are sold in courses of eight sessions.
