Who is the Obagi Nu-Derm Treatment Programme suitable for?

Subject to initial medical screening, both men and women of any age can benefit from this treatment programme. You should NOT have treatment if you are pregnant, breast-feeding or if you suffer from any immune disorders. While the Obagi Nu-Derm Treatment Programme produces fast results strong commitment to the programme is essential.

 

How long does it take before I will notice a difference in my skin?

You will receive a thorough consultation before you begin the treatment programme.  At the start of the programme, a set of pre-treatment photographs will be taken. You may require a preparation skin peel before commencing the Nu-Derm system. You will continue to use the aftercare products at home for the next six weeks. During the first six weeks your skin will undergo quite dramatic changes and for a number of days, may even look worse than before treatment. This is when comitment to the treatment programme is required. You will be seen at a 6 week follow up appointment where your progress will be monitored. You will need to purchase additional prescription supplies at this appointment to either continue the improvements in your skin or to maintain your results.

 

How much does the Obagi Nu-Derm Treatment Programme cost?

In some cases, a six week homecare treatment programme is all that is required to produce the required result. Depending on the treatment programme prescribed a six week programme costs from £300. If a skin peel is recommended to boost results, then the cost of the skin peel, plus your Nu-derm products, costs £595.

 

Maintenance Obagi Nu-Derm products are required to maintain the results of your treatment. As these products contain prescription only medications, they cannot be purchased over the counter. You will require a face to face appointment with Sue Ibrahim, our Nurse Consultant in Dermatology in order to obtain further supplies. There is a £30 Consultation / Private Prescription charge for each appointment.
