Photorejuvenation in Essex
Photorejuvenation
Photorejuvenation is a minimally invasive procedure that can help achieve smoother, healthier, younger-looking skin by using advancements in technology in a safe, easy, gentler and effective way.
During the procedure, pulses of intense light are delivered through the skin through very specific filters. Unlike laser skin resurfacing, the level of energy is delivered in specific settings to maximise the results. The skin absorbs the light energy which stimulates the production of collagen.
With new collagen production, the ageing skin begins to soften. Fine lines are decreased, dark pigmentation spots fade and the skin becomes firmer. While typically performed on the face, Photorejuvenation can be performed on the neck, chest and hands. Photorejuvenation can also be combined with one of the Obagi Nu-Derm Treatment Programmes to produce dramatic changes in the quality and appearance of the skin.
Who is Photorejuvenation suitable for?
Subject to initial medical screening, both men and women of any age can benefit from the treatment. You should NOT have treatment if you are pregnant, breast-feeding or if you suffer from epilepsy.
