Mole & Cyst Removal in Essex & London
Moles, cysts, warts, fibromas and large skin tags can be removed quickly and painlessly at one of our daily minor surgery clinics in Rayleigh, Essex & at our clinic in Whitecross Street, Central London.
Cosmetic Radio Wave Surgery is a modern technique used to remove skin lesions such as moles, warts, skin tags and any unwanted lumps and bumps quickly, easily and painlessly. Using the latest advanced radio-wave technology, the procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and takes just fifteen to twenty minutes to achieve excellent results. No stitches are required and scarring is minimal – almost like airbrushing away any imperfections without a trace!
Cosmetic radio surgery is recommended for the permanent removal of unwanted skin growths on the face and body. Moles which are flat or raised, skin tags, seborrhoeic keratoses which look like warts and are brown in colour, warts: these are due to a viral infection and are common on the hands but can occur anywhere, xanthomas: fatty deposits around the eye.
During the procedure a surgical electrode emits radio-waves that glide through tissue safely and precisely without the use of pressure. The “cutting” effect happens as the radio-waves cause the tissue being treated to disintegrate and split apart as if it had been cut by a razor sharp blade. The electrode is self-sterilising while in use – so an added benefit of this procedure is the very low risk of post-procedure infection.
It is normally possible to return to work immediately following the procedure. The wound will heal within one to four weeks, leaving a flat layer of new skin that gradually blends into the normal skin colour.
Usually a one-off procedure, however some moles have a deep element and in these cases can recur and a repeat treatment may be required.
In many cases, Cosmetic Radio Wave Surgery can be carried out immediately following your consultation.
