Restylane®
Restylane is one of the world's most widely used dermal fillers. With 10 million treatments carried out worldwide since 1996, Restylane delivers proven efficacy and well-documented safety.
Restylane® is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance, called hyaluronic acid. The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous and produces a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to your skin.
Treatment with Restylane® has also been scientifically proven to simulate collagen production within the dermis, assisting self-rejuvenation. Restylane® replenishes your skin, improving its elasticity and tone and creating a naturally fresh and youthful appearance. Restylane Vital® is used to rejuvenate the eye area, the face, the neck, the hands and the décolletage. Restylane Touch® is used for correcting thin superficial lines, around the mouth, for example, forehead lines and smile lines. It is also used for correcting depressions under scars. Restylane® is used for correcting medium depth wrinkles around the mouth, nose to mouth lines and frown lines. Restylane Lipp® is intended for creating lip volume in the body of the lip, enhancing the lip border to increase definition and Increasing definition to the philtrum ridges. Restylane Perlane® is used for correcting deeper wrinkles and folds and Restylane Sub Q® is used to replace larger amounts of volume loss in the cheeks and the chin.
And now, Restylane Lidocaine and Perlane Lidocaine are now available; helping you achieve a more comfortable treatment.
Who is Restylane® suitable for?
Subject to initial medical screening, both men and women of any age and with all skin types can benefit from the treatment. You should NOT have treatment if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, have an infection or a serious skin disorder.
How long does a Restylane® treatment take?
A single Restylane® treatment will usually take about 30 minutes. Additional pain relief is not required by all patients; however, it can be easily arranged at your request. When treating the lips, pain relief in the form of local anaesthetic nerve block (similar to that used by a dentist) is often used. Improvements can be seen immediately following treatment. There may be some localised bruising, slight swelling or redness at the site of the injections, but this will fade.
