“Sue explained my procedure fully to me and the procedure was painless. Very pleased with results.”
Like wrinkle reducing injections, dermal fillers should be used to enhance your natural beauty and the results should never look fake or over-stated. If applied with an expert touch, most people shouldn’t be able to tell you’ve had them done. They will just think you look even more attractive but won’t be able to put their finger on why.
Alarmingly, dermal fillers can be performed by anyone; qualified or not. We advise that for any product that is going to be injected into your face that you fully investigate your practitioner and go to someone who performs lip fillers on a daily basis.
Our nurse specialist, Sue Ibrahim has almost 20 years’ experience of lip filling treatments and was one of the first practitioners to use Juvederm Volbella, the only hyaluronic acid-based lip filler that is proven to last over twelve months in the skin.
Sue also trains and mentors doctors and nurses working in the field of aesthetics and is a respected senior member of The British Association of Cosmetic Nurses.
Elan Medical Skin Clinic is inspected and registered with Treatments You Can Trust and have been awarded a Quality Assurance Mark.
Can you help reverse lip filling treatments that have gone wrong?
As an experienced practitioner, Sue is often asked if she can reverse any lip filling treatments undertaken by inexperienced providers elsewhere. The answer is yes.
Sue uses a special product that is injected into the lips to dissolve products like Restylane and Juvederm within 24 hours. Patients normally return to Elan Medical Skin Clinic in Essex or London two weeks later to have their lips professionally and naturally enhanced. Please read this testimonial from one of our patients who suffered at the hands of an inexperienced practitioner.
“I had lip filler last year in London and was left with horrific results. I lost all my confidence and didn’t leave the house for days. I was so desperate for my lips to go back to normal.”
I was then recommended to Elan Medical. I got an appointment on the day. Sue was amazing; she calmed me down and told me it will all be fine and was also shocked to see my botched job. Sue injected product into my lips and within minutes I had my normal lips back.
Sue gave me my confidence back and I was able to get my life back. Though my lips after treatment were left very dry due to how over stretched they were from the earlier disaster, Sue said I couldn’t have any treatment until a few weeks to make sure all the filler had been dissolved.
I am so pleased with my results and highly recommend Elan Medical Group to everyone. Sue is so genuine and realistic and is not there to take your money like other clinics from previous experience. She will only treat you if she feels you need it. Amazing!”
Who is suitable for lip filler treatment?
Subject to initial medical screening, both men and women of any age can benefit from treatment. You should NOT have the treatment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or if you have an infection (like a cold sore) near the mouth.
How long does lip filler treatment take?
Lip filling treatment normally takes around 15 minutes. Using advanced injection techniques, most clients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. Although there may be some slight swelling or redness at the site of the injections, improvements can be seen immediately following treatment.
