Essex nurse consultant in dermatology, Sue Ibrahim, has been named Runner-up Nurse of the Year in the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards
Sue is absolutely delighted to have won the award, which celebrates nurses who go the extra mile to keep the public safe from rogue and unscrupulous practitioners and activities. The winners were announced on Saturday July 2nd at the glittering White Party event at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
Sue, the founder of Elan Medical Skin Clinics in Rayleigh and central London, said: “The Safety in Beauty Awards are well recognised in the industry for helping to raise awareness of the importance of safety and high standards in the beauty, health, aesthetics and cosmetic interventions industry and I am absolutely thrilled to have won this award.”
With over 30 years’ experience in dermatology and 18 years’ experience in cosmetic medicine, Sue has been involved in training and mentoring doctors and nurses working within cosmetic medicine for a number of years.
As a founder member of the RCN Aesthetic Nurses Forum and the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, Sue is highly regarded by her peers and is no stranger to winning awards. In 2013 she was presented with a special award by the BACN for the support she offers to members.
